One of our goals at this shooting was to fulfill an often repeated request that a model be nude over a long period of time, and be involved in several happenings.
Part A: Pictures 223-239
For this part of the shooting Katka's clothing was to be removed and left behind, so she got undressed in an apartment and left her clothing there. It should also be noted that Katka took no "emergency" clothing of any sort along (and neither did we).
After leaving the apartment it was necessary that she leave the house via the stairway and cross the street, in order to reach the car; and the street not quiet and empty, on the contrary! To add to the action a streetcar passed by just as she had reached the car.
Part B: #239za-249za
We drove to a small parking lot near a forest, where Katka took a brief stroll, unperturbed by passing and parked cars nearby. She walked a ways into the forest and then returned to the car.
Part C: #250-301
At this point Katka said that she was getting rather hungry, so we drove back downtown in search of something edible. Katka found a pizzeria and said it looked nice; we had to park a bit further down the street, and Katka strolled into the pizzeria, happy to have found relief for her hunger. Picture 258 shows the ecstatic reaction of a passing truck filled with street workers.
The folks in the pizzeria were obviously surprised by Katka's appearance but just as obviously pleased by her unexpected visit. And Katka was glad that she could finally select and order something to eat. Of course, the preparation of pizza does require a bit of time, so Katka had to be patient. She got a drink from the cooler and took her place at the only table in the pizzeria, a stand-up table which conveniently stood right in front of the large window to the street.
Since no stools were present, Katka sat down on the ledge in front of the window. Picture 267, taken from outside of the pizzeria, shows how visible Katka was for those passing by. Lots of pedestrians and cars passed the pizzeria during what seemed to be an eternity before the pizza was finished. Katka devoured the first half of the pizza immediately but then her hunger diminished and she left the rest uneaten. The action on the street outside of the pizzeria persisted during Katka's meal; pedestrians, streetcars, cyclists and cars.
Before leaving Katka took a closer look at the pizza oven and played around a bit. A brief "aside:" Several other hungry guests were present during our visit to the pizzeria; since they expressed explicitly that they would rather not appear in the photos we respected their request and photographed Katka in the corner where she stood, the other guests standing behind us.
Katka had become quite self-confident at this point; she spent a few minutes on the bench in front of the pizzeria, fully visible for passers-by and leaving very little to the imagination. After awhile, she went back into the pizzeria and got the car keys, after which she marched back to the car. During this last jaunt we were blessed with an endless flow of passing cars, as if we had
ordered their appearance!
It should be noted that it was rather chilly outdoors, the close-up in picture 301 shows that Katka had reacted to the cold. But the car heater soon provided a more comfortable temperature.
Part D: #301za-301zi
Back in the car, we drove to a street which passed through a large puddle. Katka got out and stood beside the street near the puddle, where she got drenched by passing cars (the first was obviously deliberate). We weren't able to get a good shot (between 301zc and 301zd) of her being sprayed, but this scene is available on one of her videos.
Part E: #301zj-313
Back home, finally. Once again, Katka had to cross the street in order to end this long excursion and return to her clothing where she had left it in the apartment.
