The Other Side of Aspen (1978) - Casey Donovan, Al Parker

Release Year: 1978
Cast: Casey Donovan, Al Parker, Chad Benson, Dick Fisk, Jeff Turk
Video language: English

Here it is, Falcon Video Pac numero uno, one of the very finest the studio has to offer. Not only an essential collector's title, but probably one of the best gay adult films ever made. Its short running time is more than made up for with massive creamloads fired all over.

Probably the most consistent and popular of Falcon's series, the Aspen collection is a must-have for any true porn enthusiast - especially this one. Excellent production values, a veritable who's who of top stars in their prime, and some of the hottest and raunchiest scenes Falcon has ever shot, Part 1 was a major release in its day, and it holds up really well! It may be short, but you won't forget it.

Shot in pre-condom days and on film (pre-video days too, kids!) this fuck-fest features some of the wildest "raw fucking" scenes you're ever likely to see, including - in the Director's Cut version - the legendary Al Parker fist-fucking his partner so hard you can almost hear his knuckles against his teeth (from the inside!) and a straight-to-the-mouth cumshot that still gives me goosebumps - not to mention a man hardon.

Shot on location, The Other Side of Aspen is not only a true classic of the era, it's also probably one of the most influential gay adult films ever made. Four skis up!

Portrait Of Dorian Gay (1974) - Alex Devron,Barry Case,Chris Travis

Release Year: 1974
Cast: Alex Devron Barry Case Chris Travis Gary Sands Jack Simms Norm Perry Terry Roberts Tom Whise
Genres: Feature Classic Pre-Condom
Video language: English

Based upon a variation of the story by Oscar Wilde, this film tells the tale of a wealthy young man named Dorian who commissions an artist to paint his portrait. The artist becomes so enamored of his subject that he presents the young aristocrat with a magical ring that turns Dorian into an irresistible god love with a hot body and thick, long prick.

The transformed Dorian picks up two rough and big-cocked sailors at the dock and has them make love in front of him before he joins in. Dorian gets his own foreskin mouthed while loosely chained to his four-poster bed. Others are lured to Dorian.s house where they are willing to do anything for him and his lustful physique.

These include: a tall blond who gets quick blowjob while Dorian.s bathing, soon shooting in his mouth; another trick who lets Dorian slap his ass cheeks before taking his large hard-on up his ass and licking Dorian.s toes; and a final trick whom he gives his ass to in a failed attempt at showing love an desire combined.
While Dorian deep at the fleshpots, his evil selfishness manifests itself in his portrait, his image becoming older and more grotesque each day while he remains youthful, spry, and horny.

Finally, Dorian realizes that he must learn to give of himself, to love for love.s sake, if he is ever to find happiness. Dorian is ready to make a fresh start but the artist, now jealous of Dorian.s many lovers, has other plans and eventually destroys the changing painting, thus ending Dorian.s life and pursuits.
The film plays well from the story point of view and remains interesting on the level. The filming is dark a lot of the time due to the age of the release, and the sex scenes are mostly tepid. The best is probably the three-way with the hunky sailors who suck well.

The Next Valentino - Kevin Glover, Steve Hammond, Eric Manchester

Cast: Kevin Glover, Butch Taylor, Jake Stewart, Tyler Moore, Steve Hammond, Eric Manchester
Video language: English

Kevin Glover narrates this behind-the-scenes look at adult videos, portraying "Thad" Baker as he strives to become "The Next Valentino."
As we follow Thad's film "education," Kevin is occasionally shown speaking to the viewer, at one time defining such business words as "fluffer," "stunt dick," and "butt double." Kevin auditions by sucking the dick of the director, Butch Taylor.

Concealed in a hockey mask, and then a leather mask, Erich Lange gives a blow job to zms8kh Luciano. zms8kh later fucks his soft, white butthole. Kevin's first day turns into a studio orgy as the entire cast and crew get their rocks off, beginning when Eric Manchester takes Steve Hammond's big hard-on up his muscular ass and ending as Kevin cums through a hole in a false wall.

Grips Jake Stewart and Tyler Moore go at it off camera and Taylor fucks the teddy bear cameraman, John Gardner. The birth of Thad as "The Next Valentino" commences when Glover narrates a fantasy scene in which he and Erich Lange suck each other's meat in a bathroom. Policeman Max Barker enters and threatens to press charges, but gets their cooperation instead, taking Lange's ass before all three of the men jack off and cum.
"... Glover appears in a "shoot" with Steve Hammond (in his first film since Stryker ) and Eric Manchester. It's guaranteed to get you as hot and bothered as it gets producer Taylor, who has to requisition a cameraman to lower his temperature. Production values are of the highest, and West's sense of pacing is flawless. The camera performs tricks you won't believe. This is a film to savor, worth many repeated viewings." - Sid Mitchell in "Blue Review," September 16-22, 1988

"The centerpiece of The Next Valentino is ... a glory hole vignette in which Eric Manchester suck the anonymous cock sticking through it (Glover's), while Steven Hammond, in an electric blue hard hat and two days' stubble, fucks him doggy style.... The best thing about The Next Valentino, however, is the melding of the narrative and the erotic."

A combination of good actors and excellent production makes this vintage gay porn movie a good choice to buy.

Wanted Billy The Kid (1976) - Dennis Walsh, John Meyers

Release Year: 1976
Cast: Dennis Walsh, John Meyers, Ron Leight, Compton Payne, Larry Marsland, John Tyme, Ren Sage, Darc Traid
Video language: English

What really needs to be expressed about this film, no matter how dramatic, is that it is a masterpiece--plain and simple. Famed director Jack Deveau made a most beautiful and beguiling blue movie with this well acted, amazingly shot, brilliantly edited trip through the life of a New York City hustler/actor, played by the boyishly scrumptious Dennis Walsh. In less than ninety-minutes we see Walsh, as Billy The Kid, engage in an astounding variety of sex acts with an equally astounding variety of johns (and even one jane). Wanted: Billy The Kid doesn't feature the kind of sex we are used to seeing these days, every scene moves in and out of shadows, the camera explores bodies to the point of abstraction, yet the whole of this film is startlingly erotic--the sum of these parts is pure sexual pleasure.
