Falconhead - Fred Halsted, Adrian Lyon, Adrian Wade (1972)

Release Year: 1972
Cast: Fred Halsted, Adrian Lyon, Adrian Wade, Anthony Lee, Buddha Joe, Dante, Joe Dietrich, Rich Johnson, Sabato Fiorello, Vince Perelli
Genres: Oral, Anal, Rimming, Group, Solo, BDSM, Pre-Condom
Video language: English

Falconhead is one of a handful of films that seriously and artistically attempt to bring grandeur, beauty, and complexity to the blue movie. It's a wonder this film is not as hallowed as Fred Halsted's L.A. Plays Itself because it is as intense and thought-provoking. Using a mirror as primary inspiration, director Michael Zen draws from a deep well of symbol and myth to bring back an electrifying erotic experience.

Falconhead features a fearsome bird-headed man with magical powers, a possibly nefarious shaman/landlord, stunningly photographed solo sequences, deliciously ambiguous sexual violence, and lots of ooey, gooey cum eating. A film like this, however dripping with artifice, is a rare treat, and every lover of erotica should see it at least once.

Desert Pick-Up Vol. 1

Studio: Jet Set Productions

Well, they certainly aint in Desert Pick-Up. These generally cute guys are plucked, waxed, tweezed, electrolysis-ized, Naired, trimmed, shaved... heck, theyre just plain smooth, even in their armpits for heavens sake. (I couldnt tell if we were being offered a Barbie doll/plastic body fetish, what with the hairlessness trend here.) And though surrounded by the dry, sun-drenched desert, these buff dudes are never strapped for moisture!Looking younger than ever, Noll kicks things off by giving his buddy a roadside blowjob, which degenerates into a threeway when a stranger in overalls appears from nowhereseville. How Brigadoon! Noll ends up getting it but good in his hungry asspit. The scenes pretty hot and Noll busts a major load, nourishing the sands with his sea-salt.Now relieved, but stuck with a broken down ride, the trio make way to a lone repair shop. Of course, theres much more action down the line like a super-drooly blowjob, an outdoor musclehunk buttfuck which lasts half a forever, a shower, cum coating, and more. The dialogue is mundane even for a porno, which isnt necessarily a bad thing. The cumshots are usually played twice. And the direction is actually restrained and visually lingering, with a nice quiet atmosphere even when the sex gets slurpy and loud. While those sands have looked better theyve also looked much worse. Desert Pick-Up is a good pick-me-up.

Inches

Release Year: 1979
Cast: Al Parker, Bob Blount, Buck Stevens, Steve Taylor, Max O'Sinsky, Carl Royce, David Sexon, Joe Roberts, Joe Shaunessy, Dan Noble, Greg Shaw
Genres: Anal, Oral, Daddies/Men, Beards, Hairy, Pre-Condom Era
Video language: English

This is a fairly intelligent love story by director Steve Scott about believable contemporary lovers. Al Parker (as up and coming photographer Doug) decides to learn more about the swinging life and unknown sexual practices after his lover (Steve Taylor, his real-life lover) walks out on him.
The story opens with a tension-creating segment as Parker awakens from a dream, only to tie up his cock and balls and unload himself, while Taylor soaps up in the shower and does his own thing. Taylor leaves for a working trip; he returns at the end of the day feeling tired, but not too tired to get his ass licked by Parker or have it filled with hard meat.
However, Parker's nightmares and fears of his waning relationship begin to plague him; he dreams of Taylor languidly sucking three strangers' cocks (and his butthole methodically plowed by an endless series of boners) and confronts his lover with his unfounded jealousy. Taylor decides to end their already strained relationship; Parker retaliates by swallowing the dick of a hitchhiker in his jeep.
Later, the now-lonely Parker's prospects get better once he succumbs to the sexual interests of a horny co-worker (Bob Blount). He follows Blount to a sleazy bar where customers enjoy backroom sex to the pulsing beat of Bad Girls and Sunset People. Group groping and anonymous cock-sucking abound.
Following this, Parker decides to get to know Blount better. They go to a snowy mountain resort to have sex. Parker balls Blount in a momentous fuck sequence in the snow and by the fireplace. As they drive off into the sunset, the duo decide to keep it ambiguous in terms of commitment. Highlights, too, include Parker fucking a man with his cock and balls at the same time.
This film is very strong on plot and sentiment, and successfully recreates the glittering world of the male model: the photo sessions, the gallery openings, the cruisy bars, the artistic friends, and the glittery crowd. However, this overemphasis may not appeal to all.

Bareback Classics Vol 1 Disc 3

Studio: Falcon Studios

Delve and dive into the glory (and in some cases, gloryhole) days of Falcon Studios with this three-disc boxed set. Oddly named Bareback Classics - these scenes are from pre-condom era films - we can only assume Falcon is using the term strictly for marketing purposes. Who cares what they call it: Some of these scenes are totally amazing and this set is worth every damned penny. (Actually, its quite a bargain when you think about it.) Theres so much cum, so many mesmerizing deep-throatings, and so many unsheathed mega-cocks slithering into quivering buttholes on display here youll need more than a few rolls of paper towels to keep up with clean-up.Disc Three contains Leigh Erick and Steve Wright in In Your Wildest Dreams; Chad Douglas, Jeff Quinn, and Lance in Giant Splash Shots II; Jeff Converse, David Ashfield, and Chris Thomp in Spring Break; Giorgio Canali and Tony Bravo in The Other Side of Aspen II; and Scott Avery, Bull Matthews, and Tad Brady in Spring Training.

Dirty Books Group Jack Offs (1981)

Release Year: 1981
Cast: Uncredited
Genres: Classic, Anal, Pre-Condom
Video language: English

This pseudo documentary is one of the oldest excuses for making blue movies. A narrator discusses the popularity of pornographic cartoons several decades ago and the proliferation of big money pornographic books and magazines of the 1970's. Abandoning the documentary style, the movie depicts a young, hairy, fore skinned reader masturbating. Followed by a duo making love in a tented makeshift "harem". They kiss and suck cock in a variety of positions, soon humping holes and jacking off side by side. The last quarter of the film is a black and white photo series of a three way encounter in a photographer's studio. They share group jack offs, mutual masturbation, oral sex, and a bit of butt fucking!
